We are very excited to announce we have been chosen again to travel the rails from Vancouver to Toronto and back with the Via Rail Artist on Board program.
We are leaving Vancouver station on July 3rd, arriving in Toronto July 7th and returning across to Vancouver on July 15th.
We are both extremely excited to meet and play music for July train travellers, jam and hear some of the passengers music and swap stories.
Albert and I will be playing 3 shows a day, in 3 different spots, on the train, as well as, playing at every station stop along the way.
I will be sharpening my acoustic guitar skills for the trip but Albert is mandolin ready. He regularly performs with his “other band” Illiteratty so he is good to play any day.
We will play a mix of Blue Dirt Girl original songs and Canadian songs for the train passengers.
We will be having a 7 day layover in Toronto with a TBA House Concert or Venue show with Paul Schmidt.
The show will likely be amplified with myself on vocals/electric guitar and Albert on vocals/bass/ stand up bass and Paul on trombone.
If you have friends or family who would like to host our House Concert please contact me.
