The tricky part about recording ‘live off the floor’ songs is to stay in the moment while you are so keenly aware of the recording process around you. It’s most important to sing the words with intention, tell the story and play guitar with the band. We got a ‘live off the floor’ recording for ‘Fill the Barrel’ yesterday in Simon Kendall’s Studio. Thanks to Albert for reworking his vocal part and Simon for his late night musings on the overall feelof the song’s structure.
