I am very excited to have been approached by Chris Blades to create a video for blue dirt girl’s song Fill the Barrel. I have admired Chris’s video work over the years and was pleased when he asked to do visuals for our song. Albert wrote the core lyrics and I added lyric bits.
It is a lament to the rain.
Albert and I headed down to Simon Kendall’s Hammond Ave Studio Wednesday night to record the song.
Live off the floor with Albert on lead vocals and bass, me on back up and my trusty electric and Simon sitting in on his Steinway grand piano.
Chris floated around the room taking video and stills and shared this photo with me.
