It has been a distinct pleasure listening to Simon Kendall @ #HammondAveStudio mixes of our 3 songs today.
One of the songs BURNING BRANCHES is #AlbertKlassen original song, with his sweet bass lick, though its up for debate who wrote the lyrics. Albert insists it was me and on it goes.
Jason Overy laid down brilliant drums, bongos and shakers and Simon added both synth and Fender Rhodes keys.
In the end its a wonderful song because of Simon’s care and attention from the moment we walked into his studio, to the recording, addition of his keys and now mixing expertise. The musicianship, and good humour, of Jason and Albert was also stellar from start to finish.
