My Greg has supported every one of my creative and musical efforts, ever, over our history together. He has created beautiful logo’s for my band, Push3, and now my blue dirt girl.
He has created large images for back drops on various stages, beautiful receptacles for my business cards and flyers, business cards and logo’s, images of my album covers in hand made wooden frames, hauled gear.
He bought me my beautiful blue fender strat and effects pedal when I wanted to experiment with new sounds. I have a beautiful office to create my music. I have had the joy of raising our 2 sons and continuing my music career, in various bits and pieces, as our boys grow up.
Now with my blue dirt girl merchandise i have used his art, his photography, for all my images. I chose a small group of photo’s from his photographic studies of the prairies, on our countless duo, trio and quartet plus dog fabulous family road trips to Saskatchewan each summer.
The Piggery, a building on my grandfather’s farm, which still stands resisting the pull to earth, The Telephone Pole image of now of long gone wooden telephone poles that stretched along the roads, The 3 Sisters a pic of 3 granaries my grandfather had built, for each of his daughters, out of wood which he filled each year with his harvest. The Saturna Island B.C. Lighthouse photo and tryptych from our yearly bi annual visits to the Island. Greg has mocked up elegant images of all my products for my online store and listened to each rough recording of each song on my Crazy Beautiful Album. My quiet but every supportive co pilot in all things.
