Our final Blue Dirt Girl 10th Anniversary House Concert and Fundraiser for Rain City Housing is next Saturday, September 20th.

Tickets are $25 with a percentage of ticket sales donated to RCH.

People 18 and under can ‘pay what you can’ at door or come for free if funds are an issue
Vancouver poet Thinking Ship/Sophie Yendole opens the show, 2 sets of new music: Blue Dirt Girl, and guest Dan Ponich on second guitar and our new trio Sight Curve. We are excited to announce that our host Eric’s brother, Paul, will play Bach’s Chaconne in D minor, on violin, with Albert Klassen on stand up bass.

For more than four decades, RainCity Housing has put government funds and generous donor dollars to good use to create, implement, and manage housing and support programs that sustain relationships, strengthen communities and make change for people experiencing homelessness and mental health, trauma and substance use issues, throughout BC’s lower mainland. Finally, this House Concert is a full circle moment. Our East Vancouver hosts, Eric and Catharine, also hosted Blue Dirt Girl’s first official concert and fundraiser for RainCity housing in 2015.
