‘Where would I be now’ video is up on our Blue Dirt Girl Youtube channel. Consider watching, subscribing, commenting and liking are latest ‘No street signs No straight lines’ album single video. As I have mentioned before if you do the 4 actions our YT channel gets higher ranking and more income for video plays. Unfortunately, it’s all about the numbers.

Read the backstory to Where would i be now on my recent Blog post.

The time lapse video was taken by my co-pilot, in all things, Greg Corrigan in October 2017 at my grandfather’s farm in Lanigan, Saskatchewan. I took liberties with the timing and sped up and slowed down the video to match certain points in the song. There is nothing that compares to a Saskatchewan skyline.

A couple of comments on the video~ “Your bass player will be happy with this one.Very original instrumentation and superb recording. Like it!” @lovekaminski
and “Super original. And what Kaminski said the bass is off the scale” Dom Piper
and finally “The time lapse video matches the track perfectly. Such a great and interesting track.” JaneMariesMusic

We just wrapped our Tour Des Iles Saturna Island shows with our trio. It was a soggy weekend but we played our hearts out for folks arriving and leaving the Island.  A video to show that neither rain, nor wind, no dust storms can deter our performances! My favourite audience feedback was a gentleman saying ” I was out on my sailboat with my sons for Father’s Day and your music welcomed us back to the dock. Made my day even more special.”

We have so many SUMMER SHOWS: Grand Prix of Art/Steveston Britannia Historic wharf, Pender Island Mosaic Festival, Saturna Pub, Persephone Brewing/Gibsons BC and back to Saturna for Sage Hayward Vineyard Dinner and Music evening.  All dates and info here.

MERCHANDISE~

I have sold 2 tank tops this month. These are jersey style jumpers with my son Reed’s immalgamation images, from Greg’s series of photos, wrapped around the top. I have reduced the price to $40. You can check out all my local handcrafted merchandise on our BANDCAMP page.  I have limited availability with all the products. Of course, our music is available as CD’s and on all your favourite streaming platforms.

Take care of each other. Be kind. Support local artists.
