Albert’s first brilliant mandolin session playing is on Big Open Sky from our first album Crazy Beautiful (2015)
His live mandolin playing, with Kathryn on acoustic guitar/vox, on Blue Dirt Girl’s Via Rail Vancouver to Toronto and Back Tour (2019) mystified the train travellers.
This time round Albert’s recorded his unique mandolin slide technique, with & without a guitar slide, evoking a myriad of feelings.
You will hear mandolin, reverend guitar, vox, synth & saxophone on Blue Dirt Girl’s upcoming 2023 album. As always the 12-14 singles will be genre free with the backbone of modern soul.
