I recently discovered some never released Blue Dirt Girl photos/videos.
I am pretty proud of my bands broad range of musical stylings both our sound and amplified and acoustic shows.
Paul Schmidt only spent 2 hours, with Albert and I, running our Blue Dirt Girl songs, on his trombone, for our Thorold, Ontario, House Concert.
The House Concert, hosted by Albert’s family, was part of our Toronto stop on our VIA Rail Canada(April 2019) Artist on Board Tour.
Paul added a beautiful layer of sound, with his trombone playing and vocals too, on many songs including our original song **BURNING BRANCHES
This was our only amplified night of music. It was a nice switch from playing acoustic guitar and mandolin on our cross Canada train trip shows.
