Our 3rd night was a show at Duncan Showroom co hosted by Patricia Dawn, Longevity John and blue dirt girl. We are wanted to raise awareness about Patricia’s Film Doc, Stolen Hearts, which needs funding to be completed.
Patricia Dawn reminded me of how change can happen in small ways with small connections. I am also thankful for the beautiful handmade necklace, both she and I, received from her artist friend.
Here was a lovely note she posted after the show ” I raise my hands to Kathryn Sutherland of the blue dirt girl Band, to @John William Falknerof the Duncan Showroom, and my son Travis Delisle Schuster. All those who came out to join us. To Debbie Debra Toporowski, Graham Blackburn, Anne and Diane. And the many others whom I enjoyed speaking with.
The music was fantastic. Stolen Hearts Documentary Project moves ahead again- and our community of unity grows. I am blessed to know you all and walk alongside you. Huy ch qu’ / Thank you”
I look forward to more events and time together, with Patricia, in support of your wonderful work for stolenhearts.ca in the Cowichan Valley. Hopefully alongside our compadre Jude Morrison.
“because i said i would”
